Madagascar covid-19 cure was received by president Muhammadu Buhari at presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday but he said it would not be administered on any one in Nigeria until it has been scientifically confirmed to be safe.
The covid-19 herbal sample was presented to Him by president Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau on his visit to Nigeria.
Buhari replied his guest saying,
"My position regarding all herbal or traditional medicines is that any such formulations should be sent to the statutory regulators for thorough scientific verification.
We will not put anything to use in Nigeria without the endorsement of our regulatory institutions".
